Admission conditions in University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB)

Age: Normally, students must be over 17 years old at the time of admission to meet the requirements for the bachelor's program. Application: You can submit your application through the UC Application, available on the University of California website. Application deadlines: Applications are accepted from November 1st to November 30th for the fall semester. Application fee: $70 for each campus (may be reduced for students with low income). Exams: UCSB has temporarily waived SAT/ACT requirements for admission, but it is important to check the current requirements on the official website. For international students, a TOEFL (minimum score of 80) or IELTS (minimum score of 6.5) may be required to demonstrate English proficiency. High School Diploma: A high school diploma confirming completion of 12 grades is required. For international students, a translation of the diploma into English may be required. Recommendations: UCSB requires one recommendation from a teacher (additional recommendations may be required for certain programs).
