Two years ago, I entered this university for the first year of my bachelor's degree in management. I entered after A-level at an international college in England, so there were no special problems with enrolling in the university. Most of all, I like the community of students and the atmosphere at the university. It was quite easy for me to make acquaintances in my first year, despite the fact that due to the pandemic, part of the training was online. After we returned to face-to-face learning, the university tried to compensate for the lack of events during quarantine, and now many different clubs and communities are available for students.

I study economics in Leeds. In general, I like the university: interesting teachers, the program is well structured. However, I believe that the cost of living in the residences that the university offers is quite high. For the first 2 years I lived in a student residence, and then I found accommodation in the city myself. The difference is palpable. However, there are advantages to living in a residence: for example, laundry services are included and there is access to free access to The Edge sports center.

The location of the university is excellent, the city center is only a 12-15 minute walk away, there is a large shopping center right in front of the building. Comfortable modern campus of the university. There are many places on campus where you can relax, or quietly do your work, I almost always stayed in the library - it is very convenient to study there without too much noise. The only thing I would like is that the level of support for students is higher. The administration responds to some student appeals for a very long time.

Our daughter studied at the University of Leeds. In 2017, she enrolled in her first year of undergraduate studies in Marketing. She enrolled through the foundation program, which her daughter did at Abbey College in Cambridge. We really liked the college itself, we entered it on the recommendation of the smap agency and the manager Elina, to whom we are still very grateful for our easy admission. The university itself left a pleasant impression. At first, we went on a study visit and then visited our daughter several times a year during her studies. The city is small, but quite cozy and with good transport accessibility. In the evenings, it can even be noisy in places popular with students. The only point that was not entirely clear to us was the stubborn reluctance of the university to reduce the cost of the program (it was our last course), taking into account the time when the study was completely online. Although, later we learned that this is done in all British universities.
