Absolutely all the expectations were confirmed. Swiss Hotel Management School is excellent. I graduated from high school in the USA. After that, I decided to enter Swiss Hotel Management School. There are students from all over the world: a lot of Europeans and representatives of Asian countries. It is necessary to memorize and assimilate huge amounts of information: the first internship was especially difficult, since you need to quickly transfer the whole theory into practice and not screw it up. But further it is simpler: you get used to confirm everything perfect as possible, in real-life examples and situations - you learn from your own mistakes. There are theoretical classrooms and practical zones, all the equipment is modern, high-quality technical programs. Of course, the price is completely inhumane (and the country is expensive in principle, so even souvenirs will not be cheap), but everyone is sure that if you earned a SHMS diploma, then you're a TOP specialist.
宣读There were long doubts about my daughter's admission to SHMS. For anyone planning to enroll in SHMS and similar hospitality schools in Switzerland, I want to say that these schools, as a rule, do not issue a Swiss diploma of the state sample. Of course, for this area this does not matter much, since the main thing is still the practical skills and connections of the school with employers. In the case of SHMS, there were no problems with the latter. Even in the context of the pandemic, students were able to provide practice in Switzerland. Now my daughter is finishing her last year. There are plans for employment in the UAE, now the curators of the school help her find varants for employment.
宣读My son received his bachelor's and master's degrees from this school of hospitality engineering. Initially, only this direction and only training in Switzerland were considered. When my son first entered the first year, there were, of course, a little shocked by the number of Asian students. It was quite difficult for my son to make new acquaintances for the first time. However, over time, he became friends with guys from Spain and Kazakhstan. As for the program itself, they start with the practice itself, including cleaning and setting tables. For those who think that they will deal only with management, I will immediately warn that this is not the case. We knew this in advance, so it didn't come as a surprise to us. My son generally liked the teachers, the internships were also very sensible, but they also implied more practice in the service sector, and not the management of hotel staff. In fact, management itself is more given already in the master's program. One bachelor's degree will clearly not be enough if there is a goal to get a full-fledged education in the field of hotel management.
宣读He entered the SHMS on the recommendation of the Smapse Agency. For the first time I learned about them at the exhibition of education in Moscow. For quite a long time I talked with a representative who spoke in detail about hotel management in Switzerland and about further employment. SHMS, at that time (2018), offered a discount on tuition to applicants from the CIS. I decided to try to submit documents and, according to the results of testing and interviews, I was able to get a discount of 15%. Taking it into account, it turned out to be a pleasant price for Switzerland, when compared with similar schools. In general, it was not difficult to study at the program. I had a fairly large number of Chinese students who had weak English, which did not prevent them from finishing the program. I did my internship at a hotel in Switzerland. Now I successfully work in a large hotel chain in Kazakhstan.
