This summer they sent a child to this camp for a French course, were satisfied. They chose to live in a family, since the child is still quite small. They picked up an excellent family, a married couple of about 45-50 years old, their adult daughter works somewhere in Lille, and they have been accepting students for several years (here each family has such a resume, which indicates how long they work together, what they offer for placement , how many have already taken, etc., it is convenient to choose). The apartments, of course, are tiny, but these are the central areas of Paris, real estate prices are insane, so this is logical. According to the conditions, nutrition - everything is fine, the child was fed with the usual dishes, followed the daily routine, could be met from school (usually there was a guide from the school itself). The school is also in the city center, almost a day later the children went out for a walk and sit in the park. Officially, excursions a week are 2-3, but in fact they could go somewhere for an hour and a half after the lessons, and along the way they were told about architecture, the history of the city, some interesting facts, etc. Middle-aged teachers, the child did not complain about the "old men," the staff recalls with pleasure. Many guys from Asia, Europeans, of course, several people in the group were from North America, Canada and the USA. Russian is just another girl in the "parallel" group.
Read in fullA very beautiful school, and Paris itself is just a fairy tale! I had a great group: one girl from Belarus, a couple from Germany (sisters), most of them are still Europeans, although there was a “classmate” from Argentina with the most typical name Jose. :) We were driven to the textbooks to a minimum - basically everyone was talking, discussing the latest news (by the way, the school has very good Internet, anywhere and very fast. Given the price of traffic in Europe, this is very convenient), we learned a lot "on the go" "on excursions and walks. Since the school is in the central part of the city (not the Champs Elysees, it is understandable, but not on the outskirts), we walked a lot and with pleasure! Do not be afraid that you will be confused if you do not know French well - they are not at all as snobs as they are thought to be, although they do wrinkle your nose a little when you speak English with them.) But you say that you are a student and you learn their beautiful, beautiful language - that's all , everyone rushes to your aid, so you will not be lost! I really liked the trip and the camp, I would like to once again go here or to Switzerland.
