I went to Alpadiya for German courses (I'm 24 years old, took a hotel with breakfasts - an offer from the school, I went during autumn). I really liked the trip, it fully met the expectations! AS for advantages, I note: Freiburg is a very cozy city and well developed at the same time. It has everything for comfortable life, and at the same time it is not as fussy as Berlin. It was nice to walk, go to the shops and restaurants (the cuisine here is wonderful, by the way, I advise everyone!) The school provides really good options for living, without extra charges. I initially liked already three hotels, chose one of them - and everything turned out to be very good: clean, comfortable (a small hotel, rather like a family one), breakfasts are delicious, regular cleaning. At the price compared with the city offers (Bookings and Aerbnb) - quite a decent one, the average price in the city for such quality. The course is both efficient and not too busy: we have plenty of time left for walks, for some joint gatherings and events. During my studies there was some kind of national holiday - so the group cooperated and went out for a picnic. A group of adults, by the way, about the same age - the oldest was 31 - so we communicated perfectly! If you want to learn the language and get an opportunity for saving money - I definitely recommend.
