I’m interested to send my daughter for the summer program of 2022

They transferred my daughter to CATS from another American school in the south of the country, as the child wanted to enter the universities of Boston. I want to note the high level of training in this school. Compared to the previous place of study, teaching here is taken more seriously. Academic performance is given much more attention. I also want to note the work of curators on admission to universities. My daughter got an excellent curator (unfortunately, I forgot the name!), who very carefully monitored compliance with deadlines and notified us immediately if the child forgot to do something. As a result, the daughter entered the chosen university. I am very grateful to the staff of the school for the preparation.

My daughter went to this academy for a summer coding program. At that time, she was 15 years old and her level was already quite high, so the usual options for summer programs with the basics of programming were no longer suitable for us. We chose Kats College, as the school, in principle, is strong in technical areas, and there is even a program with MIT. My daughter was very pleased with the summer program. The participants, she said, had a very personal approach. For example, if they saw that the child's level was higher than the average for the group, they gave additional material and additional tasks. Then they sorted it all out. In general, I liked both the program and the academy itself very much. There was a lot of reason from the trip.

CATS is perfect for those students who are interested in entering good American (and Boston) universities. The son was interested in computer science and dreamed of entering MIT and other universities of the "high legion". Of course, we understood that he was unlikely to get to MIT, but we wanted to give him a good technical education. Smapse agency helped us in choosing schools. Several times before that, we went to their exhibitions, and I liked the consultation. Since we focused on the exact sciences and considered mainly options in Boston, KATS seemed to us the most interesting option. The academy has a STEAM program, this is an elective in the sciences, where you can choose up to 5 subjects. A project is made on the program, which can then be added to the portfolio. Quite a useful course. I can recommend it to anyone who is interested in engineering and sciences. It seems that there is also such a program in the summer. But I will not say for sure, my son studied on it during the school year.

We sent my son to the summer program in Kats in 2019. The program was then called Ivy League and involved visits to Ivy League universities. The child at that time was studying at another American day school, but they did not do anything like that. I liked the program very much, we visited all the declared universities, the child was delighted, brought a lot of photos and chose several universities for himself) Unfortunately (or fortunately), the circumstances were such that we had to move from the USA to Canada and the child entered the University of Toronto. However, he remembered the tour of American universities well, often telling us at first what is the difference between the University of Toronto and American universities. So, the program, in my opinion, is suitable for those who are planning admission, or just for informational purposes.
