Reviews
I went to study at Concord College for intensive English courses - I wanted to bring up the knowledge before entering the school. The School of Concord College was chosen according to reviews, photos, the cost of studying. The course was excellent! Very competent distribution on groups - the initial test from several blocks to divide students into groups. My group was very accurately chosen: in a weaker one, it would be boring and time would be wasted, and in the more advanced it would be too difficult. At first time I was Intermediate, now I am at Advanced. Very, very much practice: we used textbooks only for grammatical exercises. And the rest - constant "speaking", dialogues and speech modules, films and books, songs in English, additional activities and excursions. I liked the teachers, I miss them! After the course you got a certificate that you even went through this kind of preparatory language program - when foreign students are accepted into English schools, it is appreciated, shows that you were seriously preparing for admission. Now, SMAPSE and I have submitted documents to several schools and are waiting for an answer - I very much hope to spend September in England already! I have no complaints about working with the company: I have a very friendly and polite manager, always in touch, helped almost with everything for the trip. Thank you!
Read in fullThis year we visited the open day with the child. The college, of course, impressed. The campus is simply amazing, it feels like you are on the territory of a museum or estate. The territory is well-groomed, there is a lot of space where children can relax in the fresh air. The classrooms are modern and equipped with the latest technology. This is especially true of chemistry and biology classes. They have a strong medical program, for which, in fact, they went to see the college. Every month, the college hosts lectures by invited experts in the field of medicine, many outdoor events and practices for students who are interested in medicine.
Read in fullMy daughter graduated from Concord in 2019. Prior to that, she studied at an international college in the south of England and, despite the fact that she had a learning experience, the first months of her studies at Concord were difficult. The school is academically strong, the program is complex and extensive, I had to study a lot. The teachers were friendly, did not single out favorites, but did not give indulgences to anyone. In general, I can say that this is an option for children who are motivated to study. There will be no free time for idleness here, but the results are worth it.
Read in fullConcord College has been known for a long time. Twice my daughter went there to a summer camp for a program with a focus on biology. Last year, my daughter started an A-level program there. Consultant Elena helped us with the submission of documents to the school. I want to note the excellent work of the manager and say a special thank you for the selection of tutors to prepare for the exams. Testing at Concord differs, of course, from standard English intermediate schools in its complexity. In addition to tutors, we were greatly helped in preparing samples of exams from previous years, which were provided to us by the agency. I want to say that you need to prepare for the tests in advance: at least six months in advance, and preferably a year before admission. But, definitely, the effort was worth it. Concord is a truly wonderful college for smart, motivated students. Technical disciplines are especially well taught here. My daughter's mathematics and biology are still the most favorite.
