Hello! We are interested in your school for our 4 children. We are most concerned about our oldest son, who is 18. He attended an American school in Kuwait and finished Year 10 (9th grade in the American system). We then moved to Spain in the middle of Year 11, and he started at The British School of Seville. He completed Years 11 and 12 at this school. He should have completed Year 13 this year, but he did not attend because we thought we were moving to the US. Due to the pandemic, he has not taken IGCSEs or AS-level exams. If we stayed in Sevilla, the director of the school would allow him to enroll in Year 13 in September and take all of his exams in 2021-22 (IGCSE, AS-level and A-level) so he can complete his secondary education. However, my husband was accepted to Universidad Carlos III, and we must move to Madrid. Do you think our son would be able to follow the same process in your school? Attend Year 13 and complete all of his exams. The director of The British School of Seville, Samantha Clewer, would be happy to communicate with you, as well.

The education of this school is fine overall. But the dreadful founder Doña Lucía of the school is the black cloud in the sunny sky. Being the founder of a British school, she doesn’t speak any English at all. And she never speaks to students, she always shouts rudely instead. She roars herself hoarse quite often, just because students don’t follow her ridiculous rules (including not buttoning up the top button of the shirt, lifting the uniform skirts above knees, putting elbows on the dining-table while dining, not braiding, etc.) She even hit a student once because the student put his elbows on the table and talked with other students during lunch time. Students should not receive such discourtesy for unimportant incidents ( like these examples a mentioned above) in a decent school. She destroys the joyful studying atmosphere and ruins both students and teachers good moods because of these insignificant issues. Her attitude is a tremendous problem and it is extraordinarily inappropriate to talk to any person with the attitude that she uses all the time. Other staffs are all decent people. The school will be a better place if she is not there. I hope the school will consider its students and its own reputation and solve this problem that exists for a long time but has never been solved.
