A month ago, I went to FIU as part of a study visit from our school in Florida. The first thing I liked was the campus. It is very well-groomed, there is a lot of space for walking, you can practice in the fresh air. The visit itself was very well organized, the staff was friendly, we were shown almost all the buildings of the university. The university has good equipment, some equipment, of course, is not the most modern, and a little additional funding would not hurt. However, in general, I had a good impression of the university. I will consider it as one of the options for admission.
Read in fullThe lectures are great! I'm in an undergraduate course in political science, and most of my classes are in-depth discussions about topics that we go through in lectures. Professors strive to ensure that students improve their level of critical thinking. We are given very interesting recommendations on literature: the books they recommend sometimes contain completely different positions on the same topic, which greatly broadens the horizons.
Read in fullWe learned about this university from friends who live in Florida. Since I studied at an ordinary Russian school, my family and I were looking for a university where there would be preparatory programs and additional support for foreign students. FIU turned out to be very good in this regard. In general, the university provides a good level of support for foreigners, it is very comfortable to be here. Teachers and students are sociable and friendly, just meet new people and make friends. A great library where you can safely prepare if you don't want to sit in your room. I am satisfied with the choice of university.
Read in fullI really like this university. I am studying here for the second year at the bachelor's degree in marketing. It came through the smapse agency in St. Petersburg. I want to thank the manager Elina for the quality work and attentive attitude to my wishes for the program and location. FIU has a very cozy small campus. There are excellent teachers who encourage students' self-expression and help their students focus on academic success. Quite a large selection of clubs and events for such a university. I am satisfied with my student life, I just need to be able to find time for everything.
