About the Kent College Canterbury

Kent College Canterbury is a prestigious independent co-educational boarding school, founded in 1885. Initially established as Wesleyan College for boys, it fully transitioned to co-education in 1975. The school is part of the Methodist educational tradition but warmly welcomes students of all faiths and cultures, aiming to create a caring community. The college's educational philosophy combines respect for tradition with an innovative approach. Being a non-selective school, Kent College places special emphasis on unlocking the potential of each student by adapting the curriculum to individual needs. This is supported by outstanding inspection results that have recognized the quality of education and student welfare as "excellent". The school offers unique opportunities, such as managing its own educational farm and a wide range of extracurricular activities. The main goals of the college are to develop well-rounded individuals, nurture life skills, and prepare students for entry into leading universities worldwide. Among the notable alumni are Guy Berryman (Coldplay bassist), Tim Clark (Emirates airline president), artist Tacita Dean, and other outstanding figures. The college also has an international presence, with campuses in Dubai and Hong Kong.

I want to say thank you to all the teachers of Canterbury College in Kent. I have never had any special language abilities but studying in the college helped me solve such problems and overcome language barriers.  At the end of the course (I chose the A-Level course), I was communicating with the English guys quite freely. Now I'm going to enter the university abroad. Teachers really like their job and it brings special energy. You became encouraged to study something new and achieve new goals. I even tried to read original "Three in a boat," but still, the movie I like more.

I study at the A-level program in Kent College. Thank you to the SMAPSE for recommending this school. It is exactly what I dreamed when I was going to England, in my opinion, one of the best colleges in the UK. I really engaged in horse riding, there was an opportunity to take part in competitions: the school has its own racecourse. I recommend Kent College to anyone who wants to see England from the pictures in the history book. Special thanks to SMAPSE managers for their support. A month ago it was necessary to organize an urgent trip home, there were no problems.
