A good school for adequate money. 2 sons were sent to study in 2019. Looked for a school for the last 2 years of A-level. Before that, children studied at a British school in Spain. But, for family reasons, we had to leave Spain, and we did not consider boarding for children in this country. England was our main alternative. The school was introduced at the SMAPSE education exhibition. I really liked the representative of the school, the children liked the conditions, a large selection of clubs and sports. This was important, as they had never lived on a boarding house before, and were a little afraid that it would be difficult for them to get used to independent living. But in fact, they adapted very quickly, of course, partly due to the fact that there were no problems with English and they went together. Compared to the Spanish school, the load is greater and the material gave more. The children graduated from school last year, there were no problems with admission: both are now studying at universities in England. So thanks SMAPSE!
Read in fullI decided to leave a review, suddenly someone will be useful) I sent my son to this school for the summer program. We were very satisfied, the child at that time was 15 years old, there were many children of his age at school. The children were from completely different countries, which was pleasing, since there was already an experience of sending a child to a "Russian-speaking" camp in England, from which, in fact, he did not derive any benefit. The school is small, located near Birmingham, many attractions around, there was an excellent excursion program. In general, the place is very beautiful, my son brought a lot of photos and impressions) I think this is just an option for those who want to go to a traditional English school with full immersion in the environment.
Read in fullThis year, the eldest daughter is finishing her studies at this school. They entered after the 9th grade of the Moscow school. My daughter, starting from the 8th grade, told us that she wanted to study abroad, but at the family council they still came to the decision that she would finish 9th grade here. I want to thank the employees of Smaps for their excellent work and help with our admission! Unfortunately, for family reasons, we delayed the admission process a little, and started it only at the end of March. Many thanks to Elena for helping us with the prompt preparation of documents and with tests! As for the school itself, I can say that it is small and very cozy. Such a family plan. I liked the place very much: typical English countryside, inspiring views, castles are located nearby. Good teachers and school principal. Several times during the training of the child, requests were made: everything was quickly resolved. Good preparation for exams.
