In 2019, the child was sent to Mill Hill for a trial trimester. At that time, my daughter was 14, and we wanted her to finish high school in England, so we decided to send her to study for a short time first to understand how ready she was. We picked up a school not very far from London, so that it would be convenient to get there by school transfer. At the Smaps agency, where we turned for help in the selection of options, we were recommended to consider either colleges in London itself or Mill Hill. Colleges shallow immediately, because they wanted the school to have its own large territory. I liked Mill Hill in this regard right away. In general, the child was satisfied with his studies at this school, the school has several departments. My daughter studied at the department for foreigners. They had their own building, but they attended events and excursions with the rest of the school's students. Studying in such an international environment helped my daughter to open up. Before the trip, she was not a particularly sociable child, but at Mill Hill she made friends with two girls with whom she still communicates. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and all the ensuing difficulties, we did not dare to send the child to permanent study, but the experience at Mill Hill was useful.

Excellent school and very close to London. Her British friends highly recommended it to us! They entered after an English school in Latvia. The program itself was similar, so there were no difficulties with the adaptation of studies. As for the level of training itself, in England it is naturally much higher than in British schools in Europe. Homework was very voluminous, at first it was difficult for the child to get used to such a load. But the motivation to learn has increased! I also want to say that Mill Hill has excellent academic curators who help with the choice of profession. Children first pass career guidance tests, and then personally communicate with the curator. Parents can also participate in this process, the curators are very friendly and open to questions. As a result, we jointly chose Civil Engineering, the child's mathematics always went well. At the boarding house: the food is normal, the residences are modern and clean. There is also enough entertainment and sports.

We got acquainted with the school in 2018 at the exhibition of foreign education. I really liked the proximity to London and, at the same time, the presence of such a large spacious campus in nature. They submitted documents through the agency smaps, which was recommended by the school. I would like to thank the manager Julia for the excellent work and the recommendation of the tutor to prepare for the exam in mathematics. My daughter passed the exams quite easily, but at first it was hard to study completely in English. It took about six months to adapt and feel comfortable. Teachers are loyal to foreign students and help newcomers.

Last year, the child went to a summer academic program at Mill Hill. I immediately liked that in this school you can take different durations. We chose 4 weeks. It seemed that this is the best option to learn something and at the same time not get tired. Unlike the usual camps, where my son had previously gone and where they teach just English, this program was much more effective. We chose a course with the study of science, and my son studied mathematics and physics. I really liked the program. If English is already advanced, then this option will be more effective than a regular camp.

I really liked the summer program at this school. This was our first experience of sending a 15-year-old child to a camp abroad on his own. Before that, he only went with us to a day camp in Cyprus. We were worried about how difficult it would be for him to navigate on his own. Manager Smaps Elena suggested that we consider several camps near London on the territory of private schools. We liked Mill Hill for its location and territory. The child himself was very pleased with the trip. Our worries were in vain: the child was met by the camp staff, in the camp he met other Russian-speaking children, so there were no great difficulties in communication. I was very pleased with the excursions. We saw almost all the famous sights in London.
