An ordinary American college for high school students with a predominance of foreign students. They chose an inexpensive school in America. Since the child had excellent academic performance, they counted on receiving a partial scholarship. We turned to the Smapse agency with a request to choose such options. We were offered to make inquiries to three schools that could potentially give the biggest discount. All schools first had to take tests, send certificates and certificates with translation, and only after that the schools answered how much they could throw to study. North Cedar made us the maximum discount of 20%, and we liked the school itself initially more than all the others: good location, the director seemed pleasant, reviews on the Internet were also good. With the visa, the story was complicated. On the recommendation of the agency, they applied for a visa in Kazakhstan. We were approved, although there were many refusals to the Russians that day.

My son went to the Academy for 1 semester. He was 15 years old at the time. The idea was to send him first for a semester to understand how suitable the American system was for him at all, and then, if everything went well, to enroll in a high school program. My son liked the academy. At that time, they cost a little more than 25 thousand for a semester with a boarding house. Other options were much more expensive, besides, as it turned out, not all American schools accept for 1 semester, only for a year at once. We decided to enter high school for the last 2 years, but due to the difficulties encountered with obtaining an American visa, we decided that the child would go to study in England. Now the child is studying at an international college in Cambridge. It may be possible to get a higher education in the states.
