A good summer camp for children from any country. Everything is thought out and done very well, the experience of the language school is visible, which has been working with children for several years. The school itself is very sedate, so typical of rural-English, but the summer children's camp is a children's camp, so there was enough entertainment and noise, no one here goes around the clock. It is good that there are many walks around the city: children can look at beautiful views and architecture, buy something or have lunch, again, listen to the real English speech. There are no questions about living at the school either: not a luxury of hotels, but everything is clean, comfortable, the furniture is new. A shower room, albeit small, in each room, which is very important for girls, as I think. The food is good: not the most varied, but the dishes are fresh, there is a choice, a lot of fruit, pastries (sometimes you can take a bun or waffle with you, eat in the fresh air, if the weather is good). I also note that there were few Russians on the course - we are not nationalists, but for the practice of English this is good, you communicate more with foreigners - you better start speaking English. Transfer and flights, all trips were on time, on time, no one was late, without overlays. We are pleased with the trip, thank you for organizing.
Read in fullWe want to say a big thank you for organizing studies at OISE Newbury Hall. Classes are interesting and diverse: children from school do not get tired at all. On weekdays classes are held from 9 am to 5:30 pm (Wednesday and Friday is a shortened day, just before lunch). We were lucky with the good weather during the trip, so the small homework was usually done on the street: here they have tables, big shops, sports grounds and ping-pong tables are also nearby. The leisure part after class is also well-organized: children communicate with each other with pleasure. Most often, some sports activities, but you can walk around Newbury (a very cozy town), buy something as a gift for yourself / friends, have a snack. Polina got her friends from abroad- they went to a Vietnamese cafe together, I really liked the local cuisine. On Saturday, an all-day trip to Oxford was organized for the whole group. There are no questions to food: three meals a day. Constantly there is tea and coffee, snacks, vegetables and herbs; at each meal they gave fruit (apples, bananas, tangerines). The room was single and small, but everything needed was prepared: a desk, a toilet in the room (with a shower), a comfortable single bed. They took with them, just in case, even towels and hangers for clothes - they weren't useful, everything was in school. Everything is very clean, serviceable, works well and is constantly cleaned. The daughter is very pleased, she said that she would go there again, and at the same school!
Read in fullAt OISE Newbury Hall I study GCSE course: at the 6th grade, my parents and I decided to enter English university. We addressed Smapse: Papa's colleague had already sent his son to an English school abroad. In fact, the contact with the consultants was already from the first meeting: they listened us carefully, offered to take tests in English and the general level in subjects. They picked a wide range of schools. We stopped at OISE Newbury Hall: I liked students' reviews, prices and rankings, and I liked the photos, green, quiet and cozy, and I'm not a fan of huge megacities. GCSE - preparation for the high school. That is, to enter the university, you need to finish 6th form, and in order to learn well on 6th form, you need to study GCSE for a couple of years. I believe that we did everything right, thanks Smapse for consultations and tips: I've always learned well, but for a couple of years here I will get used to local requirements and learning features. So far (I finish only the first year GCSE ) there are some difficulties: the terms in physics, biology and chemistry are especially difficult - Latin is everywhere. Mathematics here is very simple. English is also normal, but I go to additional courses for foreign students (English as a second language) - it helps a lot. And in principle, when you constantly speak English, immerse yourself in the environment - learns everything much faster and easier. I hope that in a couple of years I will be able to write a review about my studies at the English university!
