The child entered this school in 2020 and is still studying there. When choosing a school, attention was paid primarily to the level of teaching and the national composition. We considered a school with a small number of Russian-speaking students, we also wanted a school not in a large city, so that the school had its own territory. We considered several options, eventually reducing the choice to a school in the suburbs of London and QE in York. The final choice in favor of QE was made after communicating with the director of the admissions committee and with the family whose child was currently studying at school (special thanks to Smapps for the contacts provided).
Read in fullOur daughter studied at this school from 2018 to 2021. In general, the impression of the school remained positive. The school has really excellent conditions, a huge selection of sports and clubs. In the first year, my daughter's eyes lit up, and she decided to participate in almost everything she could, and this became a problem, since it was difficult to combine with her studies. And in the end, we left only horseback riding and swimming. As for teaching, in general, there were no special problems. The teachers, of course, are different. Someone is more willing to give to students, someone less. Like everywhere else, actually.
Read in fullMy daughter Anna started school this school year. They entered the post of the 9th grade of the Russian school for the program of the 11th grade according to their system (year 11). My daughter did not have very good English (the usual school level, they did not study additionally). Therefore, we considered a school with the possibility of additional language support. We turned to Smapse for help, as we had already traveled through them to the camp. I want to note the attentive approach of the manager of the company Elena, the girl listened to our wishes, asked leading questions. In the selection of schools painted the features of each of the schools, what to pay attention to. This was especially useful for us, since we had no experience of studying abroad. Now my daughter has been studying for almost six months. While everything is fine, I got involved in studying for 2 months, I like the teacher of additional English very much. A-level will probably also be done here.
Read in fullThe school was initially recommended by friends. Their son graduated from Queen Ethelburga's three years ago and entered the UCL. Admission was planned in advance, several years in advance, during which time they planned to visit the school to make a final decision. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, it was not possible to visit the school in person, but the agency organized a personal meeting with the director of the admissions committee in Moscow. We received clear and detailed answers to our questions, after that we began the process of registration of documents. I want to thank the manager Lyubov for his help in collecting documents. We did everything as quickly as possible. I like the school itself very much, teaching is given at a high level, but no one will force children to learn.
