SLU is a great option for online education. I was looking for an online master's degree in analytics, and Saint Louis was one of the few options that offered a full-fledged volume program at an adequate cost. I want to express my gratitude to the manager of the agency Smaps Elina, for recommending this program. The program is clear, understandable and balanced. A convenient online platform, failures are very rare, and if there are, we always extend the deadlines for the delivery of modules.
Read in fullIn 2016, our daughter told us about her decision to go to university in the United States. For us, it was a bolt from the blue, because before there was no talk of any study abroad. Then my daughter studied in the 10th grade at a Moscow school with specialized English. For advice and help with the admission plan, we turned to the Smaps agency. I want to sincerely thank the head Nikolay and our wonderful manager Julia for the implementation of our project. Initially, we were offered 2 strategies: to transfer to an American school for the last 2 years, or to graduate from school here and enter the university through a preparatory program. We were not chasing the most rated universities, and we did not want to let the child go to school in America alone, since she had no experience of studying abroad at all. Therefore, we decided to enroll through the preparatory program. The university for the future was chosen almost immediately. I liked that the university is not located in a metropolis, good living conditions and there was an opportunity to get a partial scholarship in the future. My daughter took part in the training program at the university itself and switched to the first year without any problems. I like everything about the university: the teachers, the campus and its size, accommodation. Despite the fact that the university is not very large, my daughter said that their extracurricular activities there are very diverse. There is an opportunity to take part in volunteer programs in other countries.
Read in fullHe graduated with a bachelor's degree in Project Management in 2019. I entered the first year after school in Almaty through the pathway program. The selection of the university and enrollment was carried out by the company Smaps, the visa was done there. The university at that time offered a good value with a scholarship for Russian-speaking students. As a result, after passing an additional interview, they gave a 20% discount on the tuition fee. I really liked the university, good teachers who pay great attention to foreign students. There was never a hint of any discrimination. I got really useful skills from the point of view of practice.
Read in fullEnrolled in SLU 2 years ago. I entered after an American school, so there were no particular difficulties with admission. I study at the Faculty of English. I really like people, both teachers and students. All my teachers are very different in age, character and background, people of origin (from teachers over 75+ years old with conservative views, to young feminist writers-politicians). Communication with such a circle of people greatly develops horizons and breadth of thinking. Over the 2 years that I have been studying here, some of my beliefs have changed a lot, I can say that I have learned to look at different things more comprehensively. Due to covid, the campus was closed for several months, and we studied online. In general, online learning was normal, but personally, I missed the live communication and discussions that we always had with teachers.
