The child began his studies at SD in the fall of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. We were amazed at how carefully the school staff sought to ensure the normal functioning of the school and comfortable accommodation for foreign students. To be honest, we had high doubts about sending a child to school at this time with so many cases. But, since the child at that time was already 16, they understood that this was the last chance to give him an international school education, so they decided to take a chance, especially since the child did not need a visa to the United States. In addition to the excellent staff at the school, I also want to note the large selection of electives that are given at a very serious level. My son took programming and is engaged in it to this day, as he wants to get a higher education in the IT field.
Read in fullAn excellent school with a unique approach to each child. In school, there really is and is practiced an individual approach to each child, not in words, but in deeds. They try to move away from the principle of learning according to the template for everyone. If the child needs additional support, or vice versa, additional tasks and material, teachers will always help with this. Children are encouraged in everything they want to learn, especially in mathematics and science. We are glad that we chose this school. A worthy option for investing in education.
Read in fullWe started training in Grade 10. Pleasantly impressed with how the school has managed to find a way out and provide children with full-fledged full-time education in the face of restrictions due to the pandemic. The school complies with all safety measures, there is an opportunity to quarantine in a separate room in the residence upon arrival at the school. Staff and schoolchildren wear masks, this is strictly monitored. Everything is very clean. As for studying, the approach to children here is just fine!! If the child is shy and not very active, he will not be pressured and compared with others, but will always point out the positive sides and try to offer the child topics and activities where he would be interested in developing. It was at this school that my daughter began to study music, however, before that, she did not show much interest in it. The school has created excellent opportunities for this and offers a large selection of tools. Many children of our age first started to study music here!
Read in fullI would like to note that the school has a wonderful huge campus with beautiful sports grounds and a swimming pool. Academic training is at a high level, while the school was able to adapt quickly when quarantine was introduced and provided us with full-fledged distance learning. Everything worked very smoothly. But, of course, the son was very much looking forward to returning to campus, as he missed live communication and classes in sections. By the way, the staff is very careful about security. Children were tested for COVID several times before being allowed to join the class.
