In the fall of 2019, I enrolled at Scarborough College for the IB Diploma program – Manager Love helped with the process. Having studied for almost a year, I can say for sure that I do not regret my choice! The school is quite small, everyone knows each other, you feel at home. The city itself, located on the North Sea coast, boasts picturesque landscapes! It's great to run or just walk. The Boarding community deserves special attention. The Weaponness House I live in is brand new! The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Girls and boys live together in different corridors, for joint pastime there is a common room on the ground floor with a kitchen, TV, table football and billiards. In terms of training, of course, due to the coronavirus, there were no problems: it was not easy to study online and, unfortunately, the quality of education was on the conscience of each individual teacher - who did better, someone worse. Of the school's strong subjects, I would note biology (Mr Fraser), economics/business (Mrs Barnes), English literature and language (Ms Grice), psychology/business (Mr Wilson). In addition to school, every Wednesday the last 2 periods are given for sports games - a very good opportunity to try something new: volleyball, football, basketball, cricket, tennis, badminton or ping pong. Now that restrictions due to the coronavirus are being gradually lifted, the school has informed us about the organization of a ski trip in the winter of the next school year. In addition, now every weekend there are different small trips: we were taken to the water park, play paintball, on excursions to the local castle. For all my love for school, if I had the opportunity to change something, I would revise the menu, the quality of the food is often complaints. Otherwise, I am very happy to study at Scarborough College, it was enough just to find friends - both staff and other students are always ready to support and help!
