Excellent English boarding school, we study here for the second year (GCSE program). We were recommended Strathallan School as one of the best options for preparing for entering universities (here is a special program for 12-13 years old students). We considered the rankings, photos. The program was chosen not national, but still British, because it is more famous, common. Most importantly, we note that it is interesting for a child to learn. Teachers make lessons complex and interesting: here you have all sorts of videos, modern sources of paper and internet, and various experts scribble on lectures. True, they ask strictly: the son is doing homework for a long time (but he says that this is the case - at first he was afraid that he would fall behind, and then he saw that everyone was taking so much time). You can take counseling from a teacher after class, sometimes they even give special lessons to themselves, which you can come to for free and repeat something again. In general, the discipline is strict, no one here with the children is nursing - keep in mind if you choose. Biology and mathematics are going very well, there are problems with English literature (I think, the language is added here - after all, the literary is not colloquial). We take more tutoring lessons (additional paid, not cheap). Sports opportunities are for free. There are also a lot of free circles, also do as much as you want, you do not need to pay extra money.
Read in fullThey sent a child here to a summer camp last year. I really liked the program, we took a course in drama and music. The child was taught to play a little national instruments. Well, from the territory of the school, and from the terrain, the child was delighted. There were practically no Russian-speakers in the camp. So, the child plunged headlong into English speech)

We made a big tour of the school, listened to the director and asked him questions, talked with the students, showed the equipment of the school. Inspired! The child should enter in a year. Strathallan will definitely be a priority
Read in fullShe graduated from this school in 2018. Great positive memories of school and teachers. I remember how at first I didn't want to go to study so far, and how I missed the atmosphere that was there. Special thanks to houseparents. They were the nicest and friendliest people in the world. I had to get used to local peculiarities, for example, I always remembered how we participated in national holidays. I remember our tournaments with other schools and the team spirit that we always had. Favorite school.
