We would like to enroll our son Ameer. He's 14 years old (DOB 14.10.2020) currently studying at AGS, Muscat, Oman. Please guide us on admission.
Read in fullMy son's son is studying here, and we also choose a school for our child, we are looking closely at Winchester College. It seems to us that separate learning is a good and effective idea: children are less distracted by girls, grow up in a truly male company, learn to show their strengths and work as leaders. With girls, communication, incidentally, is not curtailed to zero: joint events and holidays are held with neighboring schools, where children can communicate. The college is beautiful (we saw pictures from a colleague), very spacious. True, it is considered elite, so it's not easy to do - be sure that the child's level of English is sufficient: we were offered an advanced training course. We, of course, think that when the son is in England - willy-nilly speaking in English, but it is for training (all terms, etc.), this course is very useful. As for living, food, security, you should not worry at all: here everything is ranked according to order, parents can always call a senior educator and in principle receive regular reports on how their child lives there. In general, we believe that this will be a proper investment of funds, albeit large, these costs are worth it.
