CATS College Cambridge

At CATS College Cambridge I came to the Foundation program: this is the type of preparatory course for the university. If you have not attended high school in England, it's almost impossible for you to enter local universities. Usually, those who want to go to university, choose a more difficult program (A-level), but my university does not belong to the category of TOPS, so I Smapse managers advised me Foundation.  It's a 1 year program. The most part of the course is given to English, and its subjects are more complete. I have a high school performance and the grades in the certificate are very high, but there were doubts about English. You can calmly watch a movie in English and listen to American music, but you can not go to the university when you say, "You know, I did not read this book, because it's so complicated and scientific, I did not understand it."  For me, the Foundation is not too complicated - the very thing, the best option: and I feel confident in my classes, and I do not repeat what I already know. The school itself is excellent: it's part of a well-known network of international colleges. It directly specializes on foreign students who want to continue studying in Britain. Of course, the Chinese and Hindus are traditionally the most and they have the best grades in the groups :) I am happy with the school and the program, working with Smapse has turned out to be productive - I hope for the successful completion of this adventure and entry to the university!

We chose CATS Cambridge after several trips to the language camp at this college. I would like to note the high level of teaching subjects from the Science block. We were primarily interested in mathematics and here it is taught perfectly. A small minus is the lack of its own large campus. However, this is compensated by a large number of additional sections and in general the high involvement of children in the learning process itself. Yes, and their accommodation is at a good level.

I would like to share my opinion about CATS Cambridge. I am the mother of a student who is studying there for the first year. First of all, I want to say about the format of the educational institution itself. It's an international college. That is, there is no closed huge territory, as in schools, which are called "classical schools". This did not bother us, since the "child" was already 18, and she enrolled in the Foundation program to prepare for the university. To be honest, there were fears that after the foundation they would not be taken to the rating universities, they read about it on the Internet. I want to say thank you to the company's employees and the head of the company Nikolai, who clearly explained all the pros and cons of the program. As a result, we decided to enroll at the Foundation, since we were satisfied with the prospects for admission to universities. We didn't chase the top 3. At the moment, I can say that the preparation is really serious. Especially mathematics and physics (we are interested in the technical direction). So far, the work of curators on admission to universities is very pleasing. I will add a review when the child arrives, which we all very much hope for)
