Bishop’s Stortford College

We recently returned from a summer camp at this school. The child is delighted! The program was very rich and interesting. We picked up a camp where the child could study music and participate in performances, since the daughter is very musical and her level of English is now good. Manager Elena recommended this option to us, for which we are very grateful to her. A small cozy school with attentive staff. A lot of creative kids. We saw a video of the performance that the children staged during the program: very talented and professional. If there is an opportunity, we will go again.

Due to the fact that the school is not well known and has just begun to attract international students, at the moment (March 2022) the school is dominated by local students. Moreover, some local students still live in a boarding house, those who live nearby practice flexi-boarding. It feels like there are more boys at the boarding house. A large selection of clubs and extracurricular activities. The music club is especially good, there are almost all the instruments.

Excellent college. We were at an open day at the beginning of the year. Everything is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly, the children say hello. There are very few Russian speakers, and in general there are not so many foreigners. The residences are modern and clean. I really liked this option, we plan to send the child to study next year.

We chose between Haileybury and Bishop's Stortford. Bishop's Stortford was more recommended to us at the Smaps Enrollment Agency, as this school is academically stronger. Indeed, the teaching here as a whole turned out to be excellent. The classes are small, the teachers are professionals, among whom there are former graduates of the school. The staff at the boarding house here is also very responsive. For all the time of the child's studies at school, there were 2 conflicts with classmates, which were quickly resolved with the help of the hausper. We are satisfied with the choice of schools.
