I was surprised that in the absence of a link to the American city (such as New York, Boston or Chicago) there is a university with excellent technical infrastructure. The nearest town, Fairfax, is very calm, beautiful, but there is no special movement, only measured walks. At the same time, the university itself, in my opinion, is equal with giants from capital cities. I had the opportunity to compare: I took an educational tour of the campuses of American universities.  Another significant advantage - teachers. A very strong preparation: they constantly go to various conferences and teach businessmen, conduct master classes and open tables, workshops. Almost everyone can find publications in scientific journals, participation in research, awards. We know that our teachers are invited to other places to teach (perhaps even more prestigious), therefore it is especially pleasant and respectful to study with them here.

I am a student at GMU in the last year of my bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences. In general, I can say that for all the time of study, there has never been a reason to regret that I am here. We have an excellent teaching staff at the faculty. Despite the fact that we studied online for a long time due to covid, the quality of teaching did not suffer from this. The professors gave the material in the same informative and complete manner. The DZ was larger than usual, but it was also checked quite quickly. I want to say about the campus itself: of course, it looks most beautiful in the fall, so open days are usually arranged at this time. It's a little frustrating that over the past year, several relatively inexpensive cafes for students have been removed. Therefore, now most students order food delivery.

We learned about GMU at the exhibition of foreign education in St. Petersburg in 2019. Our son was finishing the 10th grade and really wanted to study in the USA or Canada. As parents, we liked Canada more, as it seemed to be a calmer country. But, after talking with the representative of George Mason, and having studied the information on the Internet, we decided to stop at this option. I would like to separately thank the manager Smaps David and visa specialist Ksenia for helping us with the admission and receipt of a visa in such a difficult time. Now my son is a second-year student at the Faculty of Communication. Of course, the first course was in the midst of a pandemic and most of the time I had to study remotely. At first it was difficult, as everything is new, both for students and teachers. Something was changed right in the process of learning, so it was necessary to adapt. Here I would like to note the work and support of teachers and staff of the university. They answered questions very quickly. Now my son is already studying full-time. He was delighted with the university itself, the campus is really ultra-modern and well equipped. So far, we are satisfied with the choice.

My home university. He graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration and Management in 2019. I can say that GMU is a fantastic place with a highly qualified teaching staff and excellent organization of the educational process. The teachers at my faculty were very responsive, if you had any questions, for example, about homework, you could always write an email and get a detailed answer pretty quickly. At this university, in general, everything is quite clearly organized. I always knew where to look for information and who to contact on a specific issue. If we talk about the location, then the university is quite easy to get from anywhere in the city, despite the fact that it is not located in the very center. Accommodation is adequate for its price, I took a separate room in the residence of the university. The only thing that always annoyed me was that the cards didn't always work.
