About the Marshall University

Marshall University is a prestigious state university located in Huntington, West Virginia. Its history began in 1837, when a small private school was founded for local residents. The educational center was located in a church building and operated only three months a year. Thirty years later, the school received a new status and became a teacher's college. It only became a university in the 1960s. The name Marshall University was given in honor of one of the founders of the American legal system. The modern university is drastically different from its original church school. It has become a large, dynamically developing and prestigious educational institution. Currently, it trains medical professionals, specialists in arts, engineers, economists, educators, and managers. The university is also a well-known research center, with priority research directions being tissue restoration methods, aging issues, gynecology and obstetrics, as well as highway and railway safety. The faculty of the university includes top specialists in their fields. The university is proud of its alumni. Dozens of outstanding athletes, well-known politicians, and media experts such as James Smith of Thomson Reuters, Qualcomm co-founder Harvey White, several well-known industrialists, Oscar nominee Brad Dourif, singer Michael Smith, and science fiction writer Nelson Bond, all received their education within its walls.

I didn’t regret that I came studying here. In the USA there are a lot of decent universities with a wide range of studying conditions and tuition fees.  My university is not located in a big city, even though it is nominally Central America (Ohio).  At the university students know why they came here. Even after gatherings until midnight, students attend all classes. Summing up in order not to be scattered - if you are ready to learn, then here you will get EVERYTHING and will be supported everywhere.
