I want to leave a review that I hope will help parents who are choosing a school for young children. We considered full-board options for a 10-year-old. The problem was that the schools that were accepted at this age were very far away, and we did not want a small child to get to school for a long time by transfer. At a consultation at the Smapse agency, manager Marie suggested that we consider this option. After studying the information about the school, we decided to submit documents. The child took a test in English. It can be taken from home, or in the office of the agency. We rented out in the office. The child was then interviewed by the principal. They were worried about the interview, since the child did not have, of course, much experience of communicating in English. Special thanks to Marie for providing us with a list of questions so that we could prepare for them with a tutor. Now the child is in his third year at school. I really like the staff of the school and the way the extracurricular life is organized. The school offers a large selection of clubs, excursions are held almost every 3 weeks. In general, the choice is still satisfied.
Read in fullBaby Y9 was transferred to Sherfield after a public school in the same area. Since the child is a British citizen, before that they studied in a simple school, but the level of education, especially in high school, was, of course, weak. Because of this, they decided to consider transferring to private schools in the same area. I can say that of the private schools located in the district, this is the best option. A few years ago, the school changed its director, who was able to significantly raise the level of teaching by recruiting new qualified teachers. We are very satisfied with the level of education and work of all the staff of the school. I can't say anything about the boarding house, since the child is studying on a full-time basis.
Read in fullA good private school, a very beautiful well-groomed area, an outstanding school building in terms of architecture. The teachers and staff are top notch. But from a sporting standpoint, it's not the most suitable option, especially for team sports. Of course, in this region, this is the most worthy option. However, if you do not get attached to the place, then it is better to consider, for example, Bradfield or Queen Ethelburga's. There, the sport is really on top.
Read in fullWith the help of the agency, smapps were able to visit this school with the child. The study visit went well: I really liked the director of the school. It seemed that he knew each child by name, it was obvious that the children and employees respected him very much. I liked that the school regularly holds open lessons, which can be attended by parents. I loved the school's campus. Real England, well-groomed fields and lawns. But the child said that he did not want to study in such a small town and he would be bored there. They did not contradict it and, as a result, chose a school in London itself.
